COVID-19 Update
During these uncertain times, we believe in communicating, in being honest and open – it is a difficult time for everyone, and we are all learning to navigate through the changes COVID-19 is inflicting upon us.

Firstly, I would like to express my hope that you and your loved ones are well and safe. Nothing is more important than this and here at Keyhole Interiors, we are so grateful for the real-life superheroes that are all NHS workers and anyone else on the front line, working tirelessly to keep us all in good health.

As a small business, we are working very hard to keep our doors open so that we can carry on connecting with you and bringing you beautifully designed interiors for your homes, offices and commercial properties. It is what we are passionate about and what we do best. The most important thing for us right now is to keep everyone safe – our own team here at Keyhole Interiors (myself, my husband and the few freelancers we work with), our much-loved clients, our suppliers and trades teams. It is our responsibility to put health and safety into the forefront of everything we do from now on, and we are taking all necessary measures to do so.

Things to know

* All our existing projects will continue until we are advised to halt them

*We are keeping in touch with all our trades – they will continue work until they are told to self-isolate

*We are keeping a watchful eye on the official COVID-19 updates and guidelines to ensure we are following advice and protocol

To our existing clients and those of you who are hoping to work with us in the near future, I would like to reassure you that we are open for business as usual. We are in the very lucky position that a lot of what we do can be done digitally so with a few tweaks, working from home will not be too big of an adjustment.

How can we work with you?

*Physical meetings will understandably be postponed, and this will include initial consultations. However, we are more than equipped at conducting digital meetings with you should you be interested in working with us

*Consultations will take place via video or Skype calls, Zoom meetings, emails and phone calls

*We will send moodboards and design proposals to you digitally

*Sample packs are to be sent out to you via post prior to virtual meetings

*Site visits will be conducted only when absolutely necessary, keeping in mind the latest advice and guidelines from the government. We will be careful to wash our hands, have no physical contact and to keep a safe distance from each other

*Whenever possible, you can help us out by sending us pictures and measurements of the spaces in question

*Sourcing is done online

Please know that (even minor, but especially) major building work and decorating takes planning. This is something I always tell my existing clients and it is very much the same under the current circumstances. Whether you are getting ready for a full renovation or a small extension, planning the building work and booking in the trades can take months. Make the most of these quiet times to lay the foundations for what could be a smooth renovation project in the second half of the year. Let us help you in turning your home or business into the space it could be.

As a small business owner, I am very much aware of the hardships and financial troubles we might have coming our way. I understand that working with a designer might not be your main priority for the time being, but I wholeheartedly believe that our services are still valuable and important. Self-isolation and lockdown will force us to spend most of our times in our homes. More than ever, it will become obvious that our homes are our safe havens and sanctuaries. And having a beautifully designed, considered home can improve the quality of our lives, have a positive effect on mental health and turn a place into a home you look forward to spending time in.

Businesses will be forced to reinvent themselves and adapt in order to survive these times and we are more than happy to assist you with our services to stand out from the crowd.

Keyhole Interiors will carry on offering guidance and assistance to all home and business owners across Lancashire, Cumbria and Lake District, Rabble Valley, Clitheroe and Cheshire. We will continue in supporting our existing clients, accepting new ones while adapting and keeping up work in the background. Please keep an eye on our blog for more updates as we try to broaden our horizons and invent accessible interior design services for everyone.

Do give us a shout if you have any questions for us, we would love to hear from you!
